About me
After studying English Language and Literature at Oxford and a brief flirtation with acting, I soon realised that writing and travel were my real passions. Some people might say there’s not much difference, but then I never engaged in a staring match with an iguana as an actress. Or raced around an icy track 60 miles south of the Arctic Circle. And there’s a lot more afternoon tea involved these days. After working at Condé Nast and on various luxury travel websites and magazines, I struck out as a freelance journalist.
I have contributed to a range of national and international publications, in print and online, including the Telegraph, South China Morning Post, CNBC Business, Food + Travel, MO, Maybourne, the Selfridge’s 10th Anniversary project, Lux, The Luxury Channel (where I am a contributing editor), and What’s Worth It (where I am Managing Editor). My work has also appeared in the Travel section of the New York Observer online, the Huffington Post and in a selection of city guides for a global financial services agency.
I’m always eager to find out about new projects, so do get in touch.
